**Mentor A Youth!**
Seven Tepees Youth Program is looking for caring adults who have anheart and anmind to impact the life of a young person through mentoring!
We're a small, unique and innovative youth program that is dedicated to impacting the lives of promising inner city youth. We offer comprehensive services to San Francisco youth including tutoring, exposure to community and cultural activities, an outdoor resource program and mentoring. Our mentor program is committed to guiding youth in gaining life and leadership skills that will lead to positive futures.
Our name, Seven Tepees, represents the diversity of the seven continents as well as the Native American tradition of connection to nature and stewardship of the land. The richness of the world's cultures is an integral part the Seven Tepees philosophy.
Mentors must have:
*Concern for youth
*An ability to keep commitments
*2-4 hours per week to spend with a young person for at least one year
*A desire to learn more about youth
*A willingness to participate in fun group activities!
